More than 1000 Hammer Awards have been presented to teams comprised of federal employees, state and local employees, and citizens who are working to build a better government. NSF ANNOUNCES DIGITAL GOVERNMENT RESEARCH FUNDING
The National Science Foundation (NSF) is accepting proposals for its new research program in Digital Government, with $2.5 million requested funding for FY99. An announcement of the program, soliciting proposals from university computer/information science researchers in partnership with federal agencies, can be found at http://www.nsf.gov/cgi-bin/getpub?nsf98121. You are encouraged to review the announcement and consider whether your agency might be interested in submitting a proposal.
