Alert 9
Grammar Hot Line

December 23, 1996

Can't remember when to use "who" or "whom"? Trying to decide if you place the period inside or outside the quotes? Now all of your grammar questions can be answered by a highly respected English professor and grammarian, Michael Strumpf, who maintains a National Grammar Hotline in California. The hotline is open from Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm, Pacific Coastal Time, or you can leave or fax a message after hours. Call (805) 378-1494 or fax (805) 378-1499. Also look for his style guide, The Grammar Bible, due out in February 1997.

Upcoming Conference

Need Audio/Visual Work?
As one of the prime examples of government reinvention, the Interior Department's Audio Visual Center is uniquely positioned to provide high quality audio/visual productions for all other government agencies. They are a government-owned/contractor-operated media production facility trained in film, video, audio, interactive multimedia, and CD-ROM. Any government agency can arrange for production work with the AVC through a simple, one-page agreement.

For an information packet and demo reel, contact AVC, Box 280982, Lakewood, CO, 80228, (303) 236-2001, fax (303) 236-2005.
