New FCN Coordinator
My name is Lee Wexel and I am looking forward to working with all of you over the next few months as the new FCN Coordinator. I’m on "loan" to NPR from the U.S. Department of Education where I serve as communications lead for Project EASI (Easy Access for Students and Institutions), the reinvention initiative for student financial aid. If
you’d like to contact me about the FCN Alert or Calendar, please send e-mail to lee.wexel@npr.gov or call (202) 694-0036.
We Want You!
If you’re interested in serving as FCN Coordinator after my departure at the end of May, we want to hear from you! In addition to serving as FCN Coordinator, you will participate in NPR activities as a representative of your home agency. This is an unique opportunity to learn more about the vision and practices of NPR so that you can return to your home agency better armed with the tools to effectuate change. Please send or fax your resume to Pat Wood at the address/fax number below--it is not necessary to call. Please remember that your home agency continues to pay your salary and get you here and back if you live outside the Washington metro area. Assignments lasting three months or more are preferred.
